Now you see them, now you don't

Well, I finished them both! The camouflage yarn turned out nicely as a pair of fingerless gloves for my husband. He loves them. The wool is merino, alpaca, corriedele. I found the fingers much easier to complete, once I purchased some 5" glove needles. I'm still saving up for some 4" ones for the next pair.

Spinning Away the Winter

Here are some pictures of what I'm working on, or have finished.

I'm knitting fingerless gloves for my husband out of the camouflage. It's Merino/Alpaca mixed.

Not sure what to make with the gray and brown Alpaca.

I can't take credit for spinning the yarn the fingerless mittens are knitting from. The pattern was fun, and maybe some day I'll get around to making a 2nd one.

My New Purse

I've been so busy, that I've had no one to share my new purse with who will squeal with pleasure (except my husband, no squealing there). Here it is !!! I got it up at Ferante's on Regal.

Invisible Friends

I purchased a new waffle maker Sunday. All excited to have waffles for dinner, I went searching for the extra bag of flour (the rest was used up making pumpkin bread). What I discovered under the cabinet, was flour everywhere and a large hole in the bag.

At this point I realized my cat's 2 year long relationship with her imaginary friends, (where she would sit for hours with her head in the corner of the kitchen), were not so imaginary any more.

I quickly emptied the cupboard to see a bag of shelled peanuts, and flour everywhere.

A quick call to my husband, and we were set up with mouse traps before the evening was over. In the morning, the cat's invisible friends were thrown in the trash.

The next day I came home from work, and realized.......the invisible friends had MOVED!, to the living room book shelves -- at least that's what my cat says.
