Attention span is gone

I got bored with the socks after turning the heel. Nice and soft but will probably run out of yarn. Oh well. So I started the Flower Scarf like "B". Hers knitted up so wonderfully I just have to have one

Knitting socks

I had some BFL left from my shawl, so thought some nice fluffy socks would be perfect for the yardage I have left.

Pretty in Pink

This is 80/20 Merino/Silk spun to lace weight. It came out to be 782 yards, which will become a Swallowtail Shawl:

Eliina: It's finished

It only took me 3 weeks, but it felt a lot longer. This was made from the mystery yarn shown below.

Mystery Yarn

I got this mystery yarn (supposed to be super wash) at the Sandpoint spin in this last fall. I am planning on knitting the Eliina Shawl just like my sister did with hers (although hers is two-ply, and mine is single). I am working on a second bobbin full, in case I run out before the shawl is completed. This is about 684 yards, and the pattern calls for 700 to 750.

Finished: Luna Moth Shawl

It's not as big as my last shawl, but I think it will be more versatile. Since it's very thin, and very light - it can be worn all year round - and in many different ways.
