I had a Martha Stewart day
I've been listening to Caston, a podcast about knitting. Today I listened to two episodes (only 75 more to go) while adding the sleeves (finally) to my Camden sweater.
Later, I canned sweet and dill pickles, then made a wonderful dinner of corn on the cob (from the neighbor), bacon wrapped asparagus, and Caesar salad.
Pretty great day.

Isn't it Beautiful
My husband earned this on trade, for taking care of a neighbors house. Here is the email that came with it:
"Hope you don't have to wait too long for quilt! I designed the blocks for embroidery machines that use bigger hoops... the Majestic hoop for Vikings, and the Grand Dream hoop for Pfaffs. The name of the quilt is "Majestic Dream." Richard came up with that clever name.
I'll keep you posted on the quilts whereabouts. I'm sending it to Viking in Ohio on Monday, and it is going to a show (don't know where) in September."

Recipe: Two new recipes
I will post the exact ingredients later, but I modified two new recipes for calories and carbs - and both my husband and I loved them.
Sloppy Joe's and Chicken Parmesan
The Chicken Parmesan was served with zucchini pasta (zucchini sliced with a potato peeler and stir fried with garlic) and the Sloppy Joes were eaten on low carb bread.
Will definitely make these again.
